Everyone is welcome to apply from throughout North America for a once
in a lifetime opportunity to compete in international competition while
enjoying Europe. Applicants will be sent all the tour information by e-mail
and information on the selection process.

About
Joining A Team
Azorcan, at the request of
teams registered on our tours, list any teams that will accept applications
from individuals. Azorcan will pass along your information to the
team staff and they will contact you should positions remain open about
tryouts or the selection process.
All teams are independent from
Azorcan so we have no input over team rosters, pre-departure programs
or team staff decisions. We are always available to answer your questions
about a specific team's tour. |

Czech Hockey Challenge Cup

CHALLENGE CUP (AA/AAA)
PRAGUE,

Annually during the
2nd week in August
Tuesday to Saturday (6 games guaranteed)
Six boys divisions 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16 years
One girls open aged division (16 and older)
Azorcan has been an official partner for the Czech Hockey Challenge
Cup in North America since 1994.
The Czech Hockey Challenge Cup is a quality summer hockey tournament
in Europe with past participants from Russia, Belarus, Slovakia, Canada,
USA, Lithuania, Hungary, Germany, Austria, Latvia, Estonia, France,
Switzerland, Sweden, Finland and the Czech Republic. Your team is guaranteed
six games in the tournament. Each game is three, fifteen minute periods
in duration. The playoff games will also have the opportunity for overtime
and then a shootout to decide a winner.
Your custom itinerary can include sightseeing and exhibition games
before or after the tournament in neighbouring countries. The duration
of your stay plus where you go is up to you. Azorcan can also arrange
practices, camps or exhibition games prior to or after the tournament.
During the tournament your team will enjoy a guided walking tour
of Prague, a visit to the crystal factory at Nizbor and the tournament
party with people from all over the world. Hopefully you will also be
at the tournament closing ceremonies to enjoy the festivities and collect
your prize. Azorcan can arrange additional excursions like Karsteijn Castle,
Konopiste Castle, the Terezin Concentration Camp or a Vlatava River Cruise.
Special events like a traditional Czech dinner and folklore show or a medieval
dinner can be arranged.
Prague is one of Europe's great cities with great shopping, restaurants,
theatre, art, architecture and nightlife. It's the perfect destination
for a sporting and cultural experience of a lifetime.

Azorcan
has exclusive AA/AAA tournaments in Sweden and Finland in August with categories
for boys teams from 11 to 16 years old or girls teams from 12 years old to
adults. Play in two tournaments over two weekends plus great sightseeing
and exhibition games.
In addition to our exclusive tournaments, AAA teams can enter the Finland
Lions Cup with tournaments at Christmas and in August at various age categories
for boys and girls.

The Alps
Italy, Switzerland, Germany

Azorcan
has exclusive A/AA tournaments in Italy and France for boys teams from 11
to 18 years of age annually in August.
Combine a tournament with exhibition games and maybe a couple of days in
Paris or go to the Germany Alps and maybe spend a day in Venice.
The Italy Ice Hockey Cup is played annually in Northern Italy between
Christmas and New Years. Enjoy some great hockey while visiting the Italian
Alps. Can be combined with Milan, Florence and Venice.

has more tournaments for teams from A to AAA that are available in August
in the Czech Republic for boys ages 11 to 16 years of age and for girls
aged 16 and older. Exhibition games can be added in other countries.
The Czech Christmas Challenge Cup and the Spring Challenge Cup are annual
tournaments in Prague.
Azorcan along with it's partners in the Czech Republic can stage a tour
including a small tournament at any time of year for teams of all ages and
skill levels.
